SD-WAN in Business Today

Upstate Women in Technology presents, “SD-WAN in Business Today” on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at City Range Restaurant in Greenville.

Cloud adoption has dramatically increased with today’s business operations. Companies can leverage cloud-based applications to help improve their speed of deployment, reduce operational cost, as well as simplify management. However, before a business moves their applications to the cloud, it is imperative that they address their network. SD-WAN is a solution that addresses network concerns by simplifying networking while providing security, fail-over, application prioritization, and diverse connectivity options.

SD-WAN stands for “Software Defined Wide Area Networking”. It’s a combination of “Software Defined Networking (SDN)”, which was created for use in cloud datacenters, and “Wide Area Networking (WAN)” which is the network outside of your office (the Internet, or site-to-site networks like MPLS and Metro Ethernet).

Join the team from Spirit Communications, Nate Delanoy, Product Development, and Eddie Crawford, Sales Engineering, as they present this interesting technology in cloud infrastructure.

Our Lunch & Learn starts networking at 11:30; lunch and presentation runs from 12:00 – 1:00. Please register at www.uwitsc.com for $20 or pay $25 at the door. For more information, please call Jill Rose at 864-908-0105 or email at uwitsc@outlook.com
