Machine Learning – What Is It and How Is It Transforming Businesses?

Upstate Women in Technology presents, “Machine Learning – What Is It and How Is It Transforming Businesses?” on Thursday, May 24th at City Range Restaurant in Greenville.

Machine Learning has been around for decades and recently has gone from the theoretical to practical. It is no longer just an R&D pet project. It is becoming more pervasive in organizations of all sizes. It has eclipsed Big Data as the hot buzzword in Business Intelligence, and for good reasons. Machine Learning is ultimately about finding new ways to DO something with your data. The combination of its power and major cloud providers significantly dropping the entry fee has resulted in an increased interest as a tool. There are many tools available that make it easier than ever to train, test, and deploy machine learning models for business tasks.
